Two Men Die In Trailer Accident

The Colorado State Patrol says two men are dead after the trailer they were in crashed on the highway near Trinidad, Colorado.
The Colorado State Patrol says two men are dead after the trailer they were in crashed on the highway near Trinidad. The C.S.P. says the men were in a 2010 Freightliner that was pulling two trailers southbound on Interstate 25 Thursday morning. The accident happened after the driver failed to negotiate a curve, overcorrected, and lost control of the trailer, which rolled. The driver was identified as 58-year-old Roberto Anaya of Ontario, Calif., and the passenger was 57-year-old Roberto Villarreal of Duarte, Calif. Tafoya says neither man was wearing a seat belt. They were pronounced dead at a hospital near the crash. The C.S.P. says the accident is under investigation, but officials don’t believe that speed, drugs, or alcohol contributed to the crash.
