Northwest Colorado wreck leaves one dead; driver faces vehicular homicide charge

The state patrol did not say how, or if, the two men were related.
Logan Otis, 20, is charged with vehicular homicide while driving under the influence of alcohol in a single-vehicle rollover collision in northwest Colorado Sunday evening that left his passenger dead. The crash occurred on Moffat County Road 18 North when Otis was driving a Ford Focus northbound. On a curve the vehicle left the roadway and began to roll, ejecting Otis' passenger, 52-year-old Dennis Otis who was not wearing a seat belt. Logan Otis was not injured. Dennis Otis was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
