Motorcyclist killed, passenger hurt in Grand County crash

GRAND COUNTY '€“ A motorcyclist is dead and their passenger was severely hurt after the bike went off the right side of Highway 134 Sunday afternoon and rolled. It happened just after 3:40 p.m. at milepost 14 as the driver tried to negotiate a left curve. Both the driver and the passenger were wearing helmets. Colorado State Patrol says they were ejected as the motorcycle began to roll down an embankment. Authorities don't believe speed, drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
