Ian Crane, a cyclist for American team Jamis-Hagens Berman, crashed through the rear window of another team's vehicle while making his way through Stage 7 of the USA Pro Challenge. While he was initially feared dead, he was airlifted from the scene to the hospital within 20 minutes. He suffered brain trauma, severe facial lacerations and broken bones. Today, he leaves St. Anthony's Hospital to continue his recovery in Seattle, Washington.
