Medina Alert issued in hit-and-run that killed pedestrian in Denver

Police described the vehicle involved as a white Nissan Murano with heavy front end damage. DPD was also looking for a second vehicle described as a gold-colored Dodge Durango with Texas license plate 98376X3.

Police said the driver of the Dodge, a juvenile male, was cited Saturday for investigation of failing to report an accident, careless driving resulting in serious bodily injury – vulnerable road user, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a valid license and driving without proof of insurance.

The victim was riding his bike when the boy hit him first, and then was hit by Gomez, investigators say.

Gregory Gomez, 45, was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
