Aaron Lunberg, 65, suspected in car accident that seriously injured three on I-25 near Fort Collins, CO

Three people were injured seriously Saturday when a pickup truck crashed into the rear of a vehicle on Interstate 25 north of Fort Collins. Investigators suspect that the driver of the truck was under the influence of drugs. The severe impact of the crash resulted in a chain reaction and six vehicles were involved. The pickup truck was driving south at about 12:50 p.m. when the driver failed to slow for backed up traffic. The crash occured on a stretch of highway where workers were doing guardrail repair. The highway lanes were closed from two down to one, and traffic was stop and go at the time. The driver of the pickup was sent to a local hospital with minor injuries. Investigators suspect he was "driving under the influence of drugs." The pickup driver's name was not released. The driver of an Infiniti, the rear-ended vehicle, and a minor who was a passenger in the same vehicle, both suffered serious injuries and were sent to a local hospital. One other person, in another vehicle, suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized. Several people in the chain-reaction crash received minor injuries.
