Pedestrian killed in Lakewood hit-and-run
Video showed it to be a smaller white vehicle with a sunroof. Police are interviewing witnesses and reviewing video to try to determine the make and model of the vehicle as well as the license plate.

The man was in the road at at West 13th Street and Otis Street when a small white car hit him.
Family asking hit-and-run driver to come forward
Barela’s family is trying to start a petition in that area on 13th and Otis St. because they said the area has a lot of drivers that speed, and that it is too dark. If anyone has any information on the hit-and-run incident contact the Lakewood Police Department at 303-987-7111
