According to police, the vehicle hit a wall before crashing into a tree. The crash happened on US 36 westbound near Lyons. There were no passengers in the car and no other injuries.
One dead in one-car crash on U.S. 36 outside Lyons
A Colorado State Patrol spokesman said a man driving an Audi struck a wall and then a tree at 3:20 p.m. between Lyons and Estes Park at milepost 17.
