Marie White of Hartford killed in car accident.

A 41-year-old woman was killed late Thursday when the vehicle she was driving fell off I-84 and landed on a road below after a crash with another vehicle, state police said.

The woman has been identified as Marie White.

White was driving a 2003 Saab west on the highway when it collided with a westbound 1998 Nissan Maxima near Exit 48, state police said.

White's vehicle went over the concrete barrier and landed on the Capitol Avenue ramp leading onto I-84 westbound, state police said. She was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

The driver and three passengers in the Maxima were treated for non life-threatening injuries, police said.
