Hector L. Ramos, 52, died in a crash after his vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 691, Connecticut

Hector L. Ramos, 52, of Waterbury died in a crash after his vehicle became wedged under a tractor-trailer on Interstate 691 around 7:53 a.m.  The truck was driving in the left lane and slowed down because of traffic congestion.  At that point Ramos’ car hit the the back of the other vehicle, state police said in the accident report.  Ramos suffered fatal injuries when his vehicle slid underneath the truck and became pinned. According to police, the driver of the tractor-trailer had no injuries.
