Police identify mother, child killed in Terryville crash

Police have identified the mother and child who died in a car crash in Terryville on Monday. Police identified the driver and mother as 29-year-old Melissa Odelius of Terryville. Her 5-year-old son, George, was taken to Hartford Hospital by LifeStar where he died. Her 3-year-old son, Thomas, who was also in the car, was taken to Waterbury Hospital, and then transported to CCMC where he is listed in serious and stable condition.
