Friday, July 3, 2015Authorities say Rebecca Draper Townsend of Brookfield died after the crash Thursday evening on Lake Avenue near the Westside Campus of Western Connecticut State University. She was a recent graduate of Immaculate High School in Danbury. Townsend’s companion, 17-year-old Benjamin Arne of New Fairfield, is in stable condition at Danbury Hospital.
