Three people injured in car wreck on Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway in Smyrna, Delaware

Del. police: 3 injured in serious Smyrna car wreck

Police say the wreck occurred at about 5:45 p.m. on Friday when a woman driving a Chevrolet Malibu southbound on Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway in Smyrna drove into the center of the median, then into the northbound lane where she struck a Chevrolet Cruz head-on. Police say the driver of the Malibu was wearing a seatbelt and endured serious but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Cruz was also properly restrained, and she and her passenger were also taken to the hospital with injuries. All of those involves are expected to survive. The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
