The two people who died in a car wreck at Highway 119 and North 119 Street in Longmont on May 9 were identified Wednesday morning.

Juan Hernandez-Cisneros, 40, and Enrique Yanez-Morales, 44, were both from Longmont.

The two men who died were in the same black Pontiac, four-door car. There was a third adult passenger in the vehicle, and he suffered minor injuries and was not identified by police.

The driver of the second vehicle, a blue Jeep Liberty, four-door, has minor injuries. She is 32 and a resident of Dacono.

Boulder County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Thursday morning using tear gas after he led them on a pursuit in a stolen moving van in Boulder County and Longmont.

Darell Dickens, 48, of Aurora, was arrested and taken to a hospital because of self-inflicted injuries. According to a Boulder County Sheriff’s Office release, Dickens told deputies “he was under the influence of methamphetamine and alcohol.”

The sheriff’s office also says Dickens has a long criminal history that includes assault on a peace officer, dangerous drugs and parole violations.

The Boulder County Coroner's Office has identified the motorcyclist killed in an accident Monday in Louisville as Chad Blodget, 36, of Boulder.

Blodget died at Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette after he was involved in a collision with an SUV on South Boulder Road at 7:40 a.m. Monday.

The Colorado State Patrol said Blodget was on a 2009 Suzuki motorcycle headed east on South Boulder Road when a 2004 Toyota Highlander headed west on South Boulder Road made a left onto McCaslin Boulevard in front of him.

The man who died Wednesday afternoon after his pickup truck crashed into a warehouse has been identified as Carlos Bustillos of Longmont.

A Longmont Police Cmdr. said in a Thursday morning press release that the 34-year-old man was identified based on statements from the family and from witnesses. He said that a positive identification from the coroner's office is pending.

Bustillos died in the accident, which happened at 110 S. Bowen Circle, near Boston Avenue. After the crash, the warehouse caught fire.

Four people were hospitalized -- at least one with serious injuries -- in a three-car wreck earlier this morning near the intersection of 30th Street and Arapahoe Avenue.

The collision occurred around 9:30 a.m., according to police radio traffic.

A Chevy Tahoe driving northbound on 30th Street ran a red light at the intersection of 30th and Arapahoe and collided with a sedan and a GMC Denali, according to Boulder police spokeswoman Kim Kobel.

The pilot of an experimental plane died when he crashed in Boulder County.

A witness called 911 Wednesday afternoon and said a plane had crashed in a field and creek off 109th Street between Lookout and Jasper roads," Boulder County officials said in a news release.

Emergency personnel said they found a Smyth Sidewinder experimental aircraft had crashed.

The sole occupant, 66-year old David Biesemeier of Loveland, died

The two men who were hurt in an explosion at a Longmont home on Wednesday were trying to make hash. Firefighters found a basement full of pot plants.

Police said three men were spraying butane into a jar of marijuana to make hash oil when it exploded.

One man suffered burns to his hands and face when butane vapors ignited in his garage which caused an explosion that blew out windows and brought neighbors running.

Police have identified a man who died after crashing his plane near Longmont Wednesday.

David Bessemeier of Loveland died when his plane went down near 109th Avenue.

Witnesses reported hearing strange engine noises and seeing parts of the plane fall from the sky before impact.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating why the 66-year-old’s plane crashed.
