Five people injured in Metrobus crash in Southeast Washington

Authorities now say five people were injured in an incident Wednesday involving a Metrobus in Southeast Washington. Metro officials said another driver appeared to have a red light at the corner of 13th Street and Alabama Avenue SE around 8:25 a.m. and struck the bus. Earlier, Metro had said two people were injured in the incident. They said they received updated information that changed the count. All five injured, who were transported to area hospitals, were passengers on the bus.
