2 people, dog killed in crash in Clay County Friday afternoon

The driver of the SUV and another passenger were transported to hospitals and the passenger is listed in critical condition, Bryan said.

2 people, dog killed in crash in Clay County Friday afternoon

A Ford F-150 was southbound on U.S. 17 just south of County Road 220 when the driver hit a stop sign and went through the median into the northbound lanes, said Sgt. Dylan Bryan. 
Shortly before 3:00pm, a the driver of a southbound pickup truck struck a stop-sign, drove over the median, and hit an SUV in the northbound lanes. The collision killed the driver and a dachsund that were in the pickup, as well as a passenger in the SUV. Two other people in the SUV were also injured, the driver and another passenger who was listed in critical condition.
