The crash closed all southbound lanes of US-1 in this area while troopers investigated.
It was shortly after 3:00 p.m. when Jack Musgrove, 68, was driving on U.S. 1, and somehow pulled into the path of a semi-truck driven by Jerry Harris, 45. Their vehicle was t-boned by the Harris' truck, and Musgrove was killed while his passenger, 67-year-old Cookie Sikes, was hospitalized with minor injuries. Harris was uninjured in the accident.
