10-year-old Grasp Academy student taken to hospital after bus crash

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the school bus was traveling northbound on Cortez Road when a car ran a stop sign then slammed into it, sending the bus into a tree. 

One student with leg pain was taken to Memorial Hospital as a precaution, police said. She's expected to be OK.

The other six students  were taken on another bus to Grasp Academy, according to officials with the Duval County School District.
