17 students taken to hospital after school buses collide in Middleburg
Ninety students from Wilkinson Junior High School were on the buses, and no life-threatening injuries were reported.
Students were evacuated from the buses after the crash.
23 students hospitalized in school bus crash
A handful of minor injuries were being handled at the scene and 23 students were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment as a precautionary measure, according to John Ward, Clay County's director of emergency management. All the students taken to the hospital have minor injuries.
