Troopers: 2 die in head-on crash in north Florida
According to a news release, 25-year-old Matthew Cisco of Kingsland, Georgia, died after his Nissan Maxima crossed the center line on U.S. 17 and hit a Honda Civic early Wednesday morning. The 19-year-old female driver of that vehicle also died in the crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened just before 1 a.m. and killed a woman from Fernandina Beach and a man from Kingsland, Georgia.

The driver of the Civic, 19-year-old Meghan Knight, died at the scene. It was her 19th birthday, troopers said.
Family and friends expressed their condolences for Knight on Facebook.
