Coral Springs Man Killed in Crash: Police

A Coral Springs man died Tuesday morning in a crash at the intersection of Wiles Road and Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs, Florida. Louis Campanella, 69, of Coral Springs, was driving south on Coral Ridge Drive when he tried to turn east onto Wiles Road. Another driver, Ryder Gaenz, 18, of Coral Springs, crashed into Campanella in a 1994 Chevrolet Corvette. Gaenz had one passenger in his car, Devin Gaenz, 59, also of Coral Springs. Campanella was transported to Broward Health North where he was pronounced deceased. Both Ryder and Devin Gaenz were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
