The crash was reported Wednesday afternoon between Northwest 103rd Street and Northwest 95th Street.

Florida Highway Patrol officials said a vehicle cut into the express lanes and was rear-ended by the motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was ejected into the southbound express lanes and died at the scene, officials said.

According to investigators, several motorcyclists were riding north bound on U.S. 1, and just as they were approaching I-95, 30 year old Erik Stevenson, of Sunrise, lost control of his bike.
