Police Search for Driver Who Ran Over Crash Victim

 South Florida authorities are looking for a hit-and-run driver involved in a crash that left two people dead. Police are working to track down the driver of the sedan that fled the scene. Officials say the truck's driver -- 31-year-old Patrick Michael Kallman -- survived the initial crash but was run over by a white or silver sedan as he crawled away from the wreck. A passenger -- 37-year-old Jennifer Catherine Jacon -- was ejected and died at the scene. Plantation police say a pickup truck crashed into a concrete utility pole early Thursday morning.

Plantation police on Monday released new details about a car thought to have been involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a Davie man. Plantation police urge anyone with information about the hit-and-run crash to call Investigator J. Grace at 954-797-2155 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-8477. The car that hit Kallman drove off and is described as a "boxy" four-door vehicle made in the 1990s or 2000s, police said. July 30 after he crawled from a gray 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck that had crashed at the intersection of South Pine Island and Peters roads. Patrick Michael Kallman, 31, was hit by a car about 3:20 a.m.
