James Nicholson was driving north on Fairfield Drive approaching the intersection with U.S. 98 with a solid green light. Gilley and the unknown driver ran the red light at the intersection, which led Gilley to crash into the left side of Nicholson's vehicle at the intersection.
Nicholson was thrown out of his vehicle.
