The FHP release said Hobbs slowed at the intersection but failed to use her turn signal. Traveling behind the pickup was 41-year-old Robert Albert Kanning III of Jay in a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound on C.R. 182 and Kanning was attempting to pass when the crash occurred.
