A Pensacola teenager died Monday after suffering severe injuries in a car crash last week, a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Monteeaasia Hills, 17, was one of several people injured in a two-car collision at the intersection of N. W and W. Lloyd streets March 27, an FHP news release said.

While attempting to make a left turn, 25-year-old Shaundora Walker collided with an oncoming vehicle containing Hills and four other passengers, the release said.

In total, seven people from both vehicles were transported to Baptist and Sacred Heart hospitals with varying degrees of injury, according to the release. Only Hills’ injuries were fatal.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

No charges have been filed at this time.
