The vehicle and bicycle collided about 7 p.m. near Kissimmee Park and Lake Tohopekaliga roads near St. Cloud, highway patrol Trooper Steven Montiero said.

The city of Kissimmee tweeted Friday that it is mourning the loss of Attkisson, who also served as an Osceola County commissioner from 2010 to 2014 and as a state representative from 2000 to 2008.
