Orange County firefighters were called out for a small plane crash Sunday afternoon.

Orange County firefighters were called out for a small plane crash Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters said the plane crashed on Haas Road, near Apopka, just after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Officials said there were two people on board and both suffered traumatic injuries.

The pilot and passenger were transported by Air Care to Orlando Regional Medical Center while a fuel spill was being cleaned up.

I was one of the passengers in the plane. My fiance, Victor Cordero, had neck injuries and cuts and bruises and we were taken by Lake EMS to the Orlando Regional Medical Center. We were not transported by Air Care.
