"Sanel did what he did," said Joseph Saint Simon, 26, Corey Saint Simon's older brother. "We trusted him and he did this. He put that dead girl's body in the car and he acted like nothing happened. He asked my parents to lie about him using the car. And now my sister is dead, it's just a lot."
Witness in Alexandria Chery’s murder case killed in Apopka head-on crash
Corey Saint Simon was a witness in the Alexandria Chery murder investigation. She was the cousin of Sanel Saint Simon, who is accused of killing Chery last August. Reports show she loaned her car to Sanel Saint Simon in July. It’s the same car where Chery’s blood was found inside.

Rufus Howard was traveling on Claronca Road when he attempted to pass the car in front of him but instead collided with the front of a car driven by Corey Saint Simon. Both people involved died of their injuries. Howard had recieved 10 driving violations since 2006, and was a convicted sex offender.
