There were also several hit and run crashes reported across Orange County, including one on South Orange Avenue at Taft Vineland Road in Orlando and on State Road 436 at U.S. 441 in Apopka, according to FHP.
Fatal crash closes State Road 520 in Orange County
State Road 520 is closed near the Orange-Brevard county line because of a fatal crash involving at least two vehicles, troopers said.

At least one person is dead after a 7 a.m. crash occurred on SR 520 near Cocoa Water Plant Road. The Floriday Highway Patrol says the crash involved three vehicles.
