2 adults die, child injured in Lake County crash
Two adults are dead and one child is in critical condition after an accident in Clermont Sunday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the accident happened on High Crest Court and County Road 455 just after 4 p.m..

Irwin, according to investigators, had just picked up her granddaughter, Fallon Painter, 3, from her daughter's house. They were both in the SUV when trooper said Walker lost control of the Jaguar, veered across the southbound lanes of CR 455 and struck the Infiniti.

"In our case, we want to make sure if we do increase penalties, if it's going to increase cost into our system, we don't want to put somebody in jail when our jails are already overcrowded if there's another way of doing it,” he said.
