39-year-old Mary Frances Perez died Tuesday night after being hit by motorist Macinsi Hamptom, 19, while crossing North Ridgewood at Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard. The accident occured around 9:00 p.m. on October 21 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Hamptom stopped her car by a Family Dollar store near the scene. Charges are not pending against Hampton at this time.
