Florida Highway Patrol says a body found in Brevard County is related a fatal crash from over the weekend.

Troopers said Art Stroud, 60, was found dead at State Road A1A and Pine Tree Drive Monday morning in the same location that a fatal crash occurred on Saturday.

FHP said they believe Stroud was walking along the east shoulder of SR A1A when he was struck by one of the vehicles involved in the crash on Saturday. Stroud was found on the east shoulder of SR A1A in the thick brush at around 9 a.m. on Monday.

Troopers said they were unable to see Stroud's body due to the heavy brush and trees where he was located.

The crash shut down SR A1A on Saturday after a northbound 2010 Dodge Charger driven by Nancy Chancey, 59, of Indialantic left the roadway after it struck the back of a 1996 Volvo while changing lanes.

The Dodge Charger hit a culvert, went airborne, overturned several times and ejected the driver, killing Chancey. FHP said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the Volvo, Deborah Cook, 57, of Maryland was not injured.
