Bobby Beaudoin arrested for robbery after car chase, crash on I-4.
Arrest made after car chase ends on I-4 in Orange County.
A car chase has ended on Interstate 4 on Thursday afternoon, leading to an arrest of a man believed to be involved in a $1-million jewelry heist.
Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms officials were pursuing a vehicle with a felony robbery suspect inside on Interstate 4 near Kirkman Road.
Orlando police arrested Bryan Bobby Beaudoin, of Orlando, on charges stemming from a Nov. 22 robbery at the International Diamond Center in Tampa, in which ATF says Beaudoin and two other suspects stole $1 million worth of jewelry.
ATF called Beaudoin the "mastermind" behind the robbery, planning it and giving another suspect a weapon.
I-4 was shut down briefly on Thursday afternoon because Beaudoin ran across the highway into the woods but he was quickly arrested, officials said.
Beaudoin was driving his own car and surrendered without any issues. No jewelry was found in his truck.
He will be charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and the use or carry of a firearm in a crime of violence.
