Westbound lanes of Lee Road shut down following fatal motorcycle crash

The westbound lanes of Lee Road are shut down near Kingswood Drive in Orlando following a fatal crash that involved a motorcycle and a vehicle. Officials said the motorcyclist, who died, wasn't breathing when transported as a trauma code.

Man, 67, killed in motorcycle crash

The man, whose name was not released, was riding a 2003 Honda motorcycle west on Lee Road, near Kingswood Drive, FHP Sgt. A 67-year-old motorcyclist was hit by a car and killed on Lee Road Wednesday evening, a Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman said. Troopers closed the westbound lanes of Lee Road to traffic as they investigated. He was hit by Elmer Crosby, 52, of Orlando, who was in a 1996 Saturn sedan, turning left from the eastbound lanes of Lee Road, Montes said. The man was thrown off his motorcycle.

Motorcyclist, 67, killed in Orange County crash identified

Goode struck the side of Crosby's car and was thrown off his bike, the FHP said.  Goode was taken to a hospital but later died, troopers said.
