Two young sisters killed in OBT crash

A  tragedy happening just days after Christmas, Florida Highway Patrol is now investigating after troopers say two young sisters, just 10 and 12 years old, were killed when their car hit an SUV on Orange Blossom Trail Wednesday afternoon.

"Just based on the crash damage, they were doing the speed limit,” said Lt. Mike Castleberry, of the Florida Highway Patrol.

Gallon received her learner's permit in 2013 but never applied for a full license, according to Montes. Gallon may receive a traffic citation for the violation, Montes said.
