Conklin was killed as a result of the crash, while Seligman sustained serious injuries and Miller sustained minor injuries.

Motorcyclist crashes, dies in Volusia County

Seligman and Miller were transported to Halifax Medical Center. Troopers described Seligman's injuries as serious and Miller's injuries as minor.
James Conklin was riding motorcycles with some friends when he lost control of his vehicle on a curve and hit a motorcycle that was traveling next to him. A third bike that was following him also became involved in the crash. Conklin died from injuries sustained in the crash. Morton Seligman and Charlie Miller, the two other bike riders, spilled on the roadway as well and were injured. Conklin and Miller were reportedly not wearing helmets.
