Two people have died in a crash involving a motorcycle in Seminole County on Tuesday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash occurred at State Road 46 and State Road 415. A pickup truck was driving northbound on SR 415 when a spool of electrical wire in the truck's cargo area flew out and struck the motorcyclists, later identified as Helene Bouchard, 54, and Andre Grenier, 58, causing them to be ejected.

The motorcycle then ignited and the man and the woman on the motorcycle died on the scene, troopers said.

The crash is still under investigation. The driver of the truck that lost the large spool of electrical wire in the crash has been located and is back at the crash scene, according to troopers.

Charges are pending.
