Eastern Shipbuilding employee rushed to hospital after being electrocuted
Representatives of Eastern Shipbuilding declined to comment on the incident or the condition of the worker. Paramedics and BCSO deputies were deployed to Eastern Shipbuilding, 6100 Halter Marine Road, at about 11 a.m. after an employee was electrocuted in the hold of a ship while working on its electrical system, BCSO reported. The worker had stopped breathing after the incident. An on-site medical staff was able to perform CPR and regain a pulse.
