2 school buses, tractor-trailer collide in north Florida; multiple children injured
A tractor-trailer crashed into a school bus at around 7 a.m. causing that bus to crash into another school bus picking up children, the Jackson County Floridian reported.
An unspecified number of children were transported to Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Fla. for treatment.

A three-vehicle accident involving two schools buses and a tractor trailer in Jackson County Florida left multiple students injured on Wednesday morning. At least three were flown by helicopter to a hospital in Tallahassee, Florida.
At least 45 injured injured in Jackson County school bus crash
JCSO Maj. Donnie Branch said about 30 kids were transported to a local hospital by bus, 14 more were transported by parents and four were taken to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.
The bus drivers and truck driver were transported with non-life threatening injuries.
The injuries were serious, in some cases involving broken bones, but none were life-threatening, Branch said. A bus driver was injured suffering a gash on his leg and arm, he added.

The students hospitalized in Tallahassee all were seriously injured, she said. They suffered broken legs, ankles, eye sockets and other broken bones and bruised organs. TMH officials confirmed Wednesday afternoon that the six students in Tallahassee were in stable condition.

He said the district is working to help those students whose families don't have medical insurance to help pay for their bills. He also said the school community has rallied together to raise about $2,000 to help all of the families. Local churches have also lent their support and have sent gift baskets to various families.
