Altha woman dies in head-on crash
The incident occurred shortly after noon Aug. 27, on a section of Penn Avenue south of English Road, according to investigators with the Florida Highway Patrol.
A 2015 Chrysler 300 driven by Shelbra Cherie Hires, 25, of Altha, was northbound on Penn Avenue (County Road 276) at the same time a 2010 Dodge 3500 driven by Rufus Dowling “Dale” Lee, 50, of Blountstown, was headed south on that same road.
