A fatal crash in Jackson County is not reported until almost a day later
The driver, 61 year old female, Gloria Marie Sauder’s was pronounced dead at the scene by Jackson County EMS. The crash was believed to have happened Thursday evening, November 17.
On Friday, November 18, Florida Highway patrol received a call at 4:08 p.m. They were notified of a crash at the intersection of Lakeside Road and U.S. Highway 231. It is reported that a 2012 Toyota Scion was traveling north on the highway when it ran off the road and struck a stop sign off a shoulder. The car kept traveling down Lakeside Road, entering the woods. The car came to a stop when it struck a tree.
