Two hospitalized after car strikes school bus on 11th Street in Panama City, Florida

Bus Involved Accident Sends Two to Hospital

"Anytime there are the school zone hours, anytime you're anywhere near a school, and you see the buses slow down, be extra cautious." Springfield Chief of Police Philip Thorne said. "It could be your kids that are out there."

The driver of a white Sedan was traveling on 11th Street near School Avenue when they apparantly became distracted and crossed into the path of a school bus, resulting in a near head-on collision. One student was on board but they were not injured, Both drivers were taken to a local hospital. Authorities say that foggy waether was partially to blame for this accident.
