Running community mourns hit-and-run death of Wakulla coach Hoover

 The driver of a sedan, described as light colored with damage to the left front and left mirror, fled the scene and is wanted by the Florida Highway Patrol.

Anyone with information about the hit-and-run crash is asked to contact FHP’s lead investigator Cpl. E. Hunt at (850) 410-0264.

Man charged in hit-and-run accident that killed Wakulla County high school coach

Surveillance video from a nearby gas station helped investigators identify  Strickland and a tip helped investigators locate Strickland's car in a wooded area that had been completely burned.  

Man sentenced to 25 years for deadly hit-and-run of Wakulla High coach Paul Hoover

After a last-minute plea, Jarvis Strickland has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the deadly crash that killed Paul Hoover.
