James Conklin, 69, killed, and Loren Young, 22, and Mary Conklin, 25, injured in collision between disabled U-Haul truck and passenger vehicle on I-10 in Madison County, Florida

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- One person was killed in an accident on I-10 in Madison County Monday evening. Troopers say 69-year-old James Conklin of Metairie, Louisiana was killed while working on a disabled U-Haul trailer on I-10 around 8:20 p.m. FHP says 25-year-old Mary Conklin was the driver of the SUV and was taken to Madison County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Nissan, 22-year-old Loren Young of Gainesville, was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in serious condition. According to FHP, a Nissan Cube hit the SUV towing the U-Haul trailer in the left lane of I-10.
