Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Orange Avenue in Tallahassee

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Orange Avenue near Saxon Street in Tallahassee, police said. Both roads are closed as officers investigate the crash which happened Thursday afternoon.

Orange Ave. and Saxon Street Intersection Closed Following Accident

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- An accident has closed the intersection of Orange Avenue and Saxon Street, according to the Tallahassee Police Department TPD spokesperson David Northway tells WCTV that a male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street and has been taken to a local hospital for further treatment. TPD says the intersection is closed while police investigate the scene. No further details are available at this time. WCTV will update this story as more details become available.
