2 seriously injured in I-75 overturn crash in Sarasota Co.

SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. -- Two men were seriously injured following a rollover crash on Interstate 75 at mile marker 178 around 11:40 a.m. Saturday. According to the Florida HIghway Patrol, Jose S. Perez, 27, of Cape Coral, lost control of his 2003 Dodge Ram truck after drifting into the right lane of I-75. The driver overcorrected, sending the car into a spin into the median, where it overturned. Perez and one passenger, Daniel Diaz Licona, 23, of Fort Myers were taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital where they are listed in serious condition.
