DRIVER CHARGED WITH DUI AFTER HILLSBOROUGH CRASH
A Tampa man is accused of driving under the influence after a traffic crash Friday (Jan. 20) sent him and two others to the hospital, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Shelby Higgins Light, 47, a passenger, was critically injured. Robert David Schmiedebush, 35, the driver of one of the vehicles, was seriously injured. The other driver, Terrence Robert Light, 45, received minor injuries. All three are Tampa residents and all were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, troopers said.
