Apparently failing to notice that ahead of her Deannia Kerr, 37, of Sarasota, was stopped in traffic, Verzani ran into the rear of Kerr's pickup truck. The collision pushed Kerr's vehicle into the eastbound lane, where it was struck by a pickup truck driven Brian Baum, 56, of Arcadia. That collision drove Baum's truck into a ditch, where it then overturned.
