State troopers close NB I-75 lanes at Fruitville Road to investigate fatal wrong way crash
State troopers are investigating a fiery, two-vehicle traffic crash on NB I-75 at Mile Marker 212. Authorities said the crash involved a wrong-way driver.

The FHP said the head-on crash happened around 3:45 a.m. Both the Chevy HHR and Ford Four Drive involved in the crash caught on fire after colliding.

The crash is still under investigation, but troopers believe the driver got onto the highway at University Parkway, the same spot as the new diverging diamond interchange.
